- I was born in Portland, OR and spent the first 18 years of my life there. I just graduated from Oregon State University with a degree in history and I start law school at the University of Arizona in August. Except for a summer spent waiting tables at the coast, I have lived my entire life in the mid-Willamette Valley, so Tucson will be a change of pace. I like the idea of more frequent posts, but I'm not so sure I'm onboard with completely ditching the narrative. It would be good to have it every so often, I feel more connected and like you're actually talking to me when its in story-format. I hope AZ is great! I went shopping last weekend and saw this sweater on a mannequin (sp?) that reminded me of something you used to wear. Then I realized that you probably don't wear it anymore considered the climate of your new home.
